WECAN or the Waterford Economic Community Action Network is a community-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening Waterford through collaboration, creativity, and connection. Our work focuses on economic vitality, community engagement, arts and culture, health and wellness, and quality of life initiatives that make Waterford a place for people to call home.

At Waterford Economic Community Action Network (W.E.C.A.N.) we are dedicated to creating a community where families and businesses are empowered to thrive in a small-town setting. We Collaborate with local government and community organizations to improve access to art and culture, health and wellness, and parks and recreation. We create avenues to ignite and revitalize economic development within the Fort LeBoeuf region.
