Who We Are

  • WECAN or the Waterford Economic Community Action Network is a community-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening Waterford through collaboration, creativity, and connection. Our work focuses on economic vitality, community engagement, arts and culture, health and wellness, and quality of life initiatives that make Waterford a place for people to call home.

At the heart of WECAN is a simple belief: when we work together, we can accomplish more than any one group could alone.

  • Waterford Economic Community Action Network (W.E.C.A.N.) envisions a Fort LeBoeuf community that is safe, healthy, vibrant, forward thinking and prosperous. A community where individuals, families, and businesses can grow and thrive and where community spirit abounds.
